How Ma and feel in this moment:

🥵well plumbing sure is FUN. 🤨 Mad shout out to our entire team for weathering this infrastructure storm as we have this past week. Old buildings have their share of... well... old bits... and once you dig into one issue we've discovered you often unearth another one 😵‍💫. But the pandemic taught us grit and perseverance and perspective, and in the end we are fixing MAMA up to get her in better shape than ever before 🧚🏽‍♀️. Send prayers that this is the home stretch for us. And send martinis to our rock solid team for their chin-up hard work and great attitudes. Mama would be proud. 💪🏼👩🏼‍🏭💆🏽‍♀️🧡

This weekend was… righteous. The love, the support, the encouragement we felt kept our chins high even amidst the psycho hustle we put in. Whoaaa did a lot of you show up after that review came out! Hooo-EE! If you’re a new follower since the review, HI! Thanks for coming to the party! We are a small but (we think) mighty team and yet we are all humans (shocking we know! 😝). For our regulars and loyal locals, we thank you in advance for your extra patience as demand for a dinner reservation doubled overnight (huzzah!! 🥳). Our woman- and man-power have remained the same, so we know we will inevitably trip here or there; you might have to wait longer to sit down… or we might have to humbly ask you to graciously allow the next hungry diners behind you to sit down… our blessedly best-intentioned team is working constantly on improving, and we are honored to serve every one of you. Thank you for the support, for the interest, and for the kindness you show by being in our space and granting us grace. As we take today (Tuesday) to recuperate, we leave you with two of Mama’s favorite pieces of wisdom: “Sit up straight and don’t be a sh*t-ass!”
