I just wanted to take a moment to give a shout out to our crew. Kristen and I are both incredibly grateful for all of you who have come by the shop to visit us over these past few weeks - employees who were with us until the pandemic hit and employees who have been gone for years now but still keep in touch with us. Downtown Oakland is a strange place right now and it’s sad to see so many small businesses boarded up. We’re so grateful to all our regulars, friends and former staff who’ve made a trip downtown just to see us. We’re also getting to know some new folks who live in the neighborhood which has been wonderful.

It’s a crazy time to be small business owners but we love this work and can’t imagine doing anything else. Here’s to hoping we and all our neighboring small businesses can hold on a bit longer. ❤️
