🍁 Flowers at Dusk & Chavez 🍁

It’s officially Fall and there’s something we just love about this season.

The light starts to change, the sweaters come out of the closet, and the dark b**rs just seem to taste better.

We’re revisiting two classics in our canon this week with “Flowers at Dusk”, our Dark L***r, and “Chavez”, our Robust Porter.

Enjoy them both, cozy up, and toast to the season.

TIMES AND PLACES

Times and Places is more than just a b**r; It reflects the special moments that we have shared with each of the esteemed breweries that helped us make it.

Built on a trio of stone fruit b**rs: saison with apricots from Side Project Brewing , spontaneous wild ale with nectarines from de Garde Brewing , and our own saison with Baby Crawford peaches from Morgan Hill’s Andy’s Orchards, this blend stands squarely at the confluence of camaraderie and collaboration.

Even though schedules and geography separate us, we’ll never forget the Times and Places we’ve shared over more than a decade of friendship.

Bottles of Times and Places will be available at all of our locations, including our online store, this Friday 9/25 at Noon. Quantities are limited.

As you may be aware by now, every 4th Saturday is Karaoke Night here at Oakland Arbor hosted by A.C.. You are going to need to clean those old boots and dust off your cowboy hat because this month’s theme is Honk Tonk! As always, we encourage you all to have fun with the theme but is by no means mandatory. Party starts at 7pm in the back bar. We’ll see you soon!

On Friday, July 31st the Oakland Arbor will be hosting Werner Van Obberghen of Brouwerij 3 Fonteinen and will be celebrating the occasion with a number of draft and bottled offerings from 3 Fonteinen.

The draft selection will include Oude Kriekenlambic, Oude Rabarberlambik, Oude Honinglambik and Nocturne.

The bottled selection is a bit too long for this post but some featured bottles include the Single-wood German Oak, Single-wood Mulberry and Resonance.

All bottles and drafts will be available right at opening, we will update this post once we know the timeline for Werner’s arrival. We’ll see you then!
