After taking two days off this week, we were a little worried about what today might look like, but y’all SHOWED UP BIG!

We are so grateful and incredibly blessed to be a part of this community. Oakboro may be a small town, but it sure has a BIG heart, and we’re so thankful to call it home.

Okay friends, we’re having a little trouble pulling ourselves away from these Victoria snuggles.
But we know y’all are ready for the coffee porch to get back to its regular schedule too!

Thank you SO much for being patient with us these past couple of days. We stocked the porch fridge twice today and may sneak one more round in later this afternoon. If you need cans now, we sent 80 cans to Ace Hardware in Locust this morning!

What a whirlwind of a week. We’re tired, emotional, completely in love…and more than anything, so incredibly blessed.

Victoria is here! 🩷

Mom and baby are both doing great, Victoria is absolutely perfect, and MeMaw & PawPaw couldn’t be prouder. Our hearts are so full!

It has also been a very long and exhausting day for everyone. It’s almost midnight and we’re still at the hospital soaking in these first precious hours, so we will not be opening the porch in the morning.

BUT… some of our incredible staff showed up tonight and made plenty of cans so the porch fridge can still be stocked in the morning. 🫶🏻 We are so, so thankful for them!

We know being closed may be an inconvenience for some, but at the end of the day, family comes first, and today, there’s nowhere else we’d rather be. We know most of you will completely understand.

And to the SO many of you who messaged, prayed, checked in and asked about Hailey and JR today… thank you. Truly. We have felt so loved by this community, and we are incredibly grateful for every single one of you.

Tonight, we’re just going to love on our newest little blessing.

Welcome to the world, Victoria. You are already loved more than you’ll ever know. 🩷

For everyone messaging and checking on Hailey, she is doing great and being such a trooper through labor. And JR is hanging in there too. Lol!

We stocked the porch fridge before heading to the hospital this morning, but y’all know how quickly those cans usually disappear, so grab them while they’re there!

We won’t be answering any more messages today because, well… they can wait. MeMaw & PawPaw have much more important things going on today.

Now we wait for our sweet Victoria to make her grand entrance.

Sometimes you just need a cup of ambition.

We snuck 4 cans of the NEW Jolene Energy into the porch fridge earlier today… and y’all found them FAST!

Made with the new Alani Ruby Red Apple + blackberry + vanilla, Jolene is sweet, crisp and has the perfect little bite of apple. 🍎

But we’re not done yet… 4 MORE cans are hitting the porch fridge later tonight.

Then next week, Jolene officially joins our new FALL MENU!

The Dolly has been a favorite on our menu since the day we opened. Named after the legend herself, it’s sweet, pink, and a little sassy, just like Dolly.

Today we’re pouring a little extra love into this one. We’ll be stocking the porch fridge this afternoon with Dolly Energy and Dolly Dirty Sodas, and we’ll be sending several Dolly cans over to Nona Louise later today too.

So grab a Dolly, sip & shop, and help us remember a woman who brought so much sparkle, joy, and music into this world. ✨

Our sweet Hailey was able to come rock on the porch with us this morning, sip some coffee, and visit with so many of our morning regulars.

It seriously does my heart good to see how excited so many of you are about Baby Victoria. Several of you have followed along, asked about Hailey, prayed for them, and are just as ready to meet this sweet girl as we are!

Tomorrow afternoon, Hailey and JR will head to the hospital to begin the induction process and, Lord willing, Baby Victoria will make her grand entrance sometime Thursday. We absolutely cannot wait to meet her!

With that being said, Milk & Honey will be CLOSED THURSDAY because you already know where we’ll all be — at the hospital, anxiously awaiting our girl!

We do plan to have the porch fridge stocked Thursday morning, and we’ve been putting in some long hours this week making sure all of our retail locations are stocked up too, so you can still get your Milk & Honey fix while we’re away.

TODAY: Open until 5:00
WEDNESDAY: Open until 5:00
THURSDAY: Closed — porch fridge stocked
FRIDAY: Planning to be back 6:00–5:00

Thank y’all for loving our family so well. The next time Hailey is rocking on this porch, she’ll officially be somebody’s mama… and I’ll be somebody’s grandma.

It was a beautiful day at Milk & Honey!

Thank you so much to everyone who stopped by with birthday wishes, hugs, and the sweetest gifts. Y’all sure know how to make a girl feel special.

And of course I had to make myself a birthday drink! Today’s choice was a Dirty Pumpkin & Brown Butter Chai and ohhhh my goodness… it was good to the very last sip.

Now I’m off to get ready for birthday dinner and spend the rest of the day celebrating with my family. I’ll be back bright and early in the morning to stock the porch fridge before church!
