The Butterfly BAKER

I'm a self taught cake decorator! I learned to make my own decorations and make with the most tasty medium, Cake! Talkington, a self taught Baker and Cake Decorator. I had a small Cake business in Canada making special occasion cakes and cupcakes. But everything started when I was still in my home country Philippines, with a very short and basic baking class while I was expecting my one and only son and couldn't work. I have always loved creating with my hands with any medium. It started me dreaming about decorating beautiful cakes. I learned to modify the basic recipes of cakes that I've learned from my short course and online, which I can proudly say I have perfected! My opinion, of course, haha! I bake from scratch and use the freshest ingredients! I bake for family, friends and friends of friends that have tried and loved the cake and my creations! I make my own flowers and figures and any decorations that's requested. I make them in buttercream, gumpaste or fondant. I am starting to use wafer paper, which I'm learning to perfect. My dream is to finally have a bakery or a Cakery lol! A bake shop where I can create the best cakes for all occasion! Now that we moved from Canada to the US to be with the love of my life, I'm starting anew. With the help and support of my husband, Chris, my son, Julian and the rest of my family, I am able to follow this dream, a little at a time.
