Dang, it’s a hot, hot summer. The heat is almost forcing you to be present, present in your body and although, yes it does feel miserable, maybe we can see this as a blessing. A brute wake-up call, a flashing neon sign; be in the moment, savor your company and surroundings. Take an extra breath to enjoy your morning coffee, maybe it’s paired with a treat or a book. Maybe you’re hot but you’re at a barbecue with your kids or by the pool with friends. And how wonderful is that? A hot and messy summer, spent having fun and not necessarily thinking about anything past this next sweaty day ahead of you.

We’re looking forward to playing in the water, games with friends, roadtrips, farmers markets, finally finishing that book in the shade and plenty of iced drinks. What are you looking forward to in July?
