Who misses Sam's broccoli soup? 🙋‍♀️
This is the first time he's made it since we moved. He makes a pot of chicken noodle each week so we have some on hand. Last week we had cream of mushroom with chicken and potato. It's definitely soup season here in Northern Michigan!

A glimpse at Sam's home life ❤ Our night together after the last day....for now 😉 Sam wants to come back in a couple years and serve Oak Park again. He's thinking east Oak Park with a drive-thru 🤔 Stay tuned!!! The love was definitely felt today! Huge shout out for the support from the Oak Park community at large and especially the Oak Park Public Safety aka OP popo lol y'all are the BEST!!! God bless all of our family and friends, you know who you are!

Well, here it is, the last day of business for our beloved Davison Coney Island. Oh, if these walls could talk! Davison has served 75 years of deliciousness to multiple generations. Sam has watched you grow up, then bring your own children in for a taste of nostalgia. It's a bittersweet day to say the least. Stop by for one last Coney. You can take a menu if you'd like. We'll be open until the crowd thins out or when we run out of food, whichever comes first. The final Coney will be served to Tom, who flew in from Georgia to say goodbye. We'll be saving your booth, Tom!

Counting down: 3 days left. Today is likely the last time Sam's making soups for you. He made vegetarian bean, spicy chicken chili and chicken lemon rice. Get it while you can!

We regret any inconvenience but we won't be open Tuesday the 25th. Sam's back is hurting really bad. See you Wednesday, Thursday or Friday. Extra help is scheduled to handle the crowds coming in to say farewell.
