Much gratitude and love to all who joined us for July's CommuniTea Sips.
What a great group of folks from all over Washington. It's encouraging to have tea drinkers join us from as far away as Bellingham and Edmonds areas, along with new folks from around Whidbey.

I even managed to do a social media thing!
If you're curious as to what it would be like to wander off the sidewalk and into a community tea event, here you go.
If that curiosity hasn't entered your brainscape, well it couldn't be any worse than what else you'll find on the algorithms to occupy 30 seconds of your day.

~ Tea House Story Time ~

Recently, two separate guests, regulars to the Tea House, met and shared tea together.
Today, one of them came in and asked me if I could hold a gift for the other guest, to give it to them when they come in next.
A lovely yixing teapot and a couple of cups they wanted the other to have for their tea journey.

Those who spend enough time in the online tea community will recognize this beautiful universal gesture of generosity. Ohh, how willing we are to send someone we just met tea samples, or even teaware.

To be an unknowing facilitator of this experience was unexpectedly grounding and uplifting.
This is how tea, as a plant companion, takes us deep to our core foundation of love and generosity. While in this space, we easily come together as one.

To end the story, the other regular happened to come in a bit later, allowing them to have the moment together.
We all shared tea to end the day.

Much gratitude to all of the great tea folk who joined us for the first, of hopefully many, Tea House CommuniTea Sips.

Lots of tea was poured today, with great energy flowing between leaf and guests.
