Free couch and matching loveseat sitting on a trailer in the parking lot behind the ice cream shop. If you need a couch and loveseat you are welcome to come get them. Just the furniture, not the trailer. 😁The trailer will be going home with us tonight.

Today is Sunday August 14th. We will be at the shop all day (most likely from 10a.-6pm). Come see what we've got that would make you happy. I'm sure we've got something that you didn't even know you needed. Anything left after today will be headed to either auction or storage. Come buy our stuff so Scott doesn't have to move it!

We will be doing open interviews tomorrow between 3pm and 7pm. If interested please stop by and visit with us. We are just starting to build our team and there will be times you will be working independently so right now we are only looking for ages 18 and over. SLO Acres the Happy Place to Be.

WE ARE OPEN TODAY! Noon to 9PM (or later) Come see us for Pioneer Days. Come by and get some ice cream, a milkshake or malt, one of our famous hot dogs, Frito chili pies, nachos, or delicious soft pretzels. We will also have old-fashioned hand-crafted sodas, bottles of pop, ice cold water, and hand made Macarons. Everyone is welcome to come by and use the bathroom or just sit a while to cool off. We've missed you and would love to see you. SLO Acres the Happy place to be.

Okay just to put your minds at ease (and upset a few of you out there), WE ARE NOT CLOSING. WE ARE NOT GOING OUT OF BUSINESS. The rumors have been crazy. Someone even contacted our landlord and told him we were closing and they wanted to rent the building. We had an incredible plan that covered our hours and would have been a really unique draw for Nowata. However, a couple of local business owners discouraged the people involved from following through with the plan. Because of the response we had to our last plan, we are going a different route to find the help we need. Doing business in Nowata is not for the faint of heart. We just want to sell delicious ice cream and make some memories with you and your families. We will be hiring part-time real soon so please watch for that announcement. HELP IS ON THE WAY! Oh my goodness I can't wait for you all to see what's coming. The fountain will be open regular hours starting in May and oh the amazing things those hours will bring. SLO Acres the happy place to be.

Today is a soda fountain day! Scott just cooked up a delicious pot of homemade chili. How about a chili dog or Frito chili pie? Maybe you've been waiting all week for some of our fabulous ice cream.
