👋🏼 Hi! My name is Dana. I launched Wren as a weekend pop-up coffee bar inside the last August. While I typically love the coffee to be front and center on this page, I figured it can’t hurt for you to know a little bit more about the gal behind the bar!

▪️When I’m not working on or at Wren, I’m working as an urban planning consultant, taking my daughter to playgrounds and parks (we have so many here!), exploring outside with , and having fun with my Norwich fan page .
▪️I’m the Director of , AND a downtown resident! I can’t wait to walk to the shop again when it’s warm (and when I’m not schlepping supplies or carrying out trash).
▪️I’m a first-time business owner! I decided to create something I wanted to see and participate in the Downtown business ecosystem, based on a passion I have for coffee and third places.
▪️I grew up in Arizona, bounced around a bit for school, and then met and married my husband in Miami before we moved up here to his hometown. Me starting a business here is a way of acknowledging his roots, and putting down new ones of our own ☺️

I’m so grateful for the support of my business so far, and for the opportunity, support, and FUN I’ve had with the .

💐 THIS WEEKEND! Stop by the South Broad Mercantile and Wren Coffee for a gift, caffeine, and a beautiful bouquet of tulips from Wander Creek Farm! Multi-colored tulip bouquets will be available for purchase Saturday-Sunday (while supplies last!) for that Mother’s Day brunch table centerpiece, or as a lovely way to tell a mom you love them.

We’re thrilled to be featuring flowers from this regenerative farm just down the road in Greene.

🍅 ABOUT THE FARM: Wander Creek Farm was formed in 2022 by Mary and Jonathan. They grow Certified Organic vegetables, herbs, and cut flowers in Greene, as well as pasture-raised Angus beef. Regenerative, no-till farming practices are at their core, and they never use pesticides or synthetic fertilizers. They are committed to soil health and keeping fresh food accessible to all. They primarily grow veggies for their 130+ member CSA, as well as farmers’ markets in Oxford and Binghamton. Cut flowers are Mary’s passion project and a growing part of the farm.
