It brings me sadness to say that all great things must come to an end. We've been working for over seven straight years to establish what we have! Retirement for my father has been the ultimate goal since day one of opening in April of 2016 and the time has come! A little earlier than expected due to a remarkable opportunity that landed on our table. This is great news! But of course sad because we've established such a great relationship with so many of you! This isn't goodbye, my father might itch for a new opportunity and we'll still be around so stay in touch!
We've met some of the most best and kind, most whole-hearted humans beings ever to exist and wish that the love continues to grow within everyone around them. We want to thank all of you who supported us throughout all these years. Special thanks to those who came everyweek, if not everyday during the pandemic to help us stay afloat. If it weren't for you, we wouldn't be here right now. Times were tough recovering from covid but luckily we had you.
It's been a long journey here at Hoi An Pho. Lots of long hours, blood, sweat and tears! With only myself and my parents operating the restaurant, I'd say we did pretty well for ourselves without hiring help. Thank you to all of my friends who gave a helping hand when needed and customers who were patient during stressful times. Throughout the operating years my father has been through some health scares that caused us to close a few times. While working 70-100hrs a week the past seven years , it became harder to enjoy life for all of us. My parents have been working their whole lives to provide for their family. I think they deserve a break from working! So when I say all great things must come to an end.. It also means that nothing great, ever comes easy. So keep working on your goals and don't give up!
The important question remains you may be asking. When are we closing? Sometime within June next month. We're aiming for our last day to be Saturday June 17th. We might be asked to leave earlier so that's still up in the air. Which means just come as frequent, and as often as you can, while you can, so please come by!
