I’m Tori Larrae, Founder and Executive & Celebrity Shef of Breakfast Belle. Since 2015, I’ve been bringing a little Southern charm (and a whole lot of sass) to the North, sharing the heart and soul of Southern cooking with everyone who’s ready to dig in. My love for Southern-style eats goes way back, thanks to the incredible lessons taught by my Mom and my late Grandma Sarah (Jefferson) Brown, all
the way from Santee, SC. From the time I was a little girl, I’ve always been obsessed with breakfast food—and my Grandma, a true Southern Belle, inspired me to name my business Breakfast Belle. It’s about sharing the love, joy, and values that shape my life. My faith and family are everything, and they’re at the heart of everything I do. As a devout believer and a proud Mama, I bring those core values into every meal I cook and every person I meet. I’m all about building a community where we can celebrate God, family, food, and fun—because who doesn’t love a good time with great food? Through Breakfast Belle, I’ve been lucky enough to serve Fortune 500 companies, prestigious places like Yale and Bridgewater, and of course, tons of amazing food lovers. But it’s not just about cooking for others—I’ve also created three retail food products: Bamma Fish Fry, Bamma Hot Sauce, and Bamma Chicken Fry. These products have received some incredible love, including from celebrity Tabitha Brown, who used Bamma Fish Fry to make a vegan alternative to fried green tomatoes. It’s been so exciting to see influencers like Food Network’s Trendy Chef, Kimmy’s Kreations, and Chef Candace share the love for my products! But my passion doesn’t stop at the stove. I’m also a huge fan of trying new foods and sharing my experiences through food reviews. Whether I’m tasting a new dish or discovering a hidden gem, I love exploring new culinary adventures and bringing my followers along for the ride. For me, it’s all about creating connections, building a community, and having fun while doing it! I’m honored to have my business recognized as a woman & minority owned business and a certified member of the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC). Along the way, I’ve been fortunate to win awards like the 2024 Girls for Technology Pitch Winner and the 2022 reSET Impact Accelerator Pitch Winner, and I even got to be featured on ABC’s Good Morning America! I also serve as a Youth Mentor for YLTrapped and was honored with the 2021 Black People Rocks Award. It’s humbling to be recognized, but nothing beats the joy of doing what I love. One of the things I’m most proud of is how I spell “Shef”—with an S to emphasize S-H-E-f. It’s my way of honoring, representing, and inspiring women in the food industry. I’m all about empowering women to chase their dreams, whether in the kitchen or beyond. Over the years, I’ve watched my business grow organically, and I continue to cook, create, and share my love for Southern food with joy, passion, and a little bit of Southern sass. I’m a proud mama, a dedicated mentor, and most importantly, a woman on a mission from God to build a community based on faith, family, food, and fun. My journey is just getting started, and I’m so excited to keep inspiring, uplifting, and sharing the love—one delicious bite at a time! Contact:
