When I was a young man, a dear older friend of mine told me that nothing lasts forever and all good things come to an end....he was right!
So, at this time, I would like to announce that Buddy's Rib and Steak will be permanently closing on June 13, 2024. We really tried hard to sell it to someone who would continue to run it as Buddy's, but unfortunately, we were unable to do so. It has been a great experience for me to own and help run this business for the past 14 years. I have made many lifelong friends with many of my customers (way too many to name) as well as many of my staff that has accompanied me on this journey. I would like to thank my current full time staff that has worked so hard these past couple of years. They are Sandra Perry, Lynda Warren, Latisha Johnston, Susan Sparks, Cheryl Vicknair, Janet Williams, Michael Lawrence, and my better half, Amy Sullivan, who has covered for me a lot recently. And, of course, my sister, Lisha Fisher, who we all know is the real boss! There is no way we could have made it here without her the past 2 1/2 years. I would also like to thank my entire family for their prayers and support here at Buddy's. Also, a special shout out and thank you to Maureen Slaight and Michelle Johnson for all they did for this restaurant and myself.
We will be open all day and evening on the 13th beginning at 6:00 a.m. and closing at 8:00 p.m. Please come visit us during the next two weeks and on the 13th. And, if any of my customers would like to invite me over for a hearty breakfast or any home cooked meal, you can count on me to be there! Thank You again to everyone and God Bless!
