For three years, that’s how Anu greets us. We ask, “What kind?” She just smiles. “It’s just something.”
And somehow, it always feels like exactly what we needed.

Good service isn’t just remembering an order. It’s noticing the person, and making something with care.

She saw our coffee 5,500 miles away.☕

Her name is Camy. For almost three years, she was one of the faces that made Northlake feel like Northlake. The early mornings, the weekend rush, the regulars who came as much for her smile as for their order.

Then she moved to Maine, and this summer she finally took the Europe trip she’d dreamed about for years.

And somewhere in Italy, she spotted something familiar. Segafredo. The same coffee we pour here every morning. She snapped a photo and texted us: “It’s been everywhere here in Italy!”

She never ordered a single cup here, but she still thought of us. That’s the thing about a morning place. It stays with you.

We didn’t open for dinner because we suddenly wanted to become something different. We opened because people kept asking.

At first, it sounded like a simple question. “Do y’all ever open at night?” But after hearing it again and again, we realized it meant something more. People wanted a familiar place after work. A place that didn’t feel rushed. A place where dinner could still feel simple, warm, and easy.

For a long time, Northlake Cafe has been part of your mornings. Coffee, breakfast, weekend waits, familiar faces. Now we’re trying to become part of a few evenings too.

Nothing fancy. Nothing complicated. Just the same place, the same people, and a little more time around the table.

Dinner is served Monday through Friday, 4:30 to 8PM.
