Seventeen new Hillside Terrace Rooms are now open, completing the hotel’s accommodations alongside the Historic Main Inn and 15 Harborside Cottages.

Inspired by Mount Desert Island’s nineteenth-century “rusticators,” the rooms put a modern spin on camping in comfort, with a luxury safari camp-meets-Maine feel, soaking tubs, thoughtful details inspired by the island’s storied summers, and private walk-out terraces overlooking Northeast Harbor.
