For today's Small Biz Spotlight let's take a visit over to a sweet Small Business called Buckets of JOY ! 🪣🍓

This locally owned family business was created by Crystal and Mike Tungett in Jennings County, Indiana. What started as a small operation at local events has blossomed into support from the community for the love of their sweet treats!

Buckets of JOY Upcoming Events:
➡ On October 5, we will be set up at Morning Breeze Retirement Community in Greensburg.
➡ The Columbus Farmers Market Fall Market begins October 17 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Fourth Street in Columbus. We will also be there on October 31.
➡ We’ll be helping Loads of Joy Laundry Service celebrate its grand opening. More details will be shared soon!
➡ Our North Vernon Dollar Tree drop-offs will continue as announced on our page rather than on a regular weekly schedule.

From the Tungetts:
"We’ll be bringing our fall cheesecake flavors to these events, along with our popular oatmeal cream pies. We are also excited to debut our homemade cinnamon rolls! We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to perfect the recipe and prepare for the fall and Christmas seasons.

Another exciting update is that we are working toward opening our own Buckets of Joy storefront in Jennings County, hopefully around November 1. Our vision includes a cheesecake bar where customers can create their own cheesecake buckets or cups by choosing from different cheesecake bases, cookies, crumbles, sauces, and fresh fruit.

As we grow, we also hope to help families make special memories through weddings, birthdays, celebrations, and other events. In addition to our signature cheesecake buckets, we can offer cheesecakes in smaller or larger pans depending on each customer’s needs.

We are incredibly excited about this next chapter and look forward to seeing where God leads Buckets of Joy. We are so thankful He has given us the opportunity to use our talents, serve our communities, and spread a little joy along the way."

What a beautiful start to fall! 🍁 There’s something special about watching the colors begin to change, feeling that little crispness in the air, and looking forward to all that a new season can bring.

And here at Buckets Of Joy, we have something else very special to look forward to…

The response has been absolutely incredible. We have received so many beautiful nominations, and reading your stories has reminded us just how much kindness and goodness lives right here in our community.

💗 THANK YOU SO MUCH 😊💗

As we reflect on our very first season at the Columbus Farmers Market, our hearts are overflowing with gratitude. Thank you to every customer who visited our booth, purchased a sweet treat, shared our posts, liked and commented, told a friend about our cheesecakes, or offered encouraging feedback. Every act of support has helped our new little company grow, and it means more to us than we could ever express.

We are also incredibly thankful for the warm welcome we received from the farmers market community. Getting to know the other vendors, hearing their stories, and becoming part of this wonderful community has been such a blessing. You all made us feel right at home in the vendor world!

Although the regular market season has ended, we aren’t finished with Columbus just yet! We will be returning for the Columbus Fall Market on Fourth Street:

We’ll be bringing all your favorite fall cheesecake flavors, our homemade oatmeal cream pies, and—something we are especially excited about—our Buckets of Joy Cinnamon Swirls will make their official debut!

Behind the scenes, we have also been working incredibly hard on something very special for the North Vernon area. We can’t share everything quite yet, but please keep following our page for updates as this exciting new chapter unfolds!

Most of all, we thank God for giving us the ability and opportunity to do what we love—create sweet treats, meet wonderful people, and bring a little joy to others. We can’t wait to see where He leads Buckets of Joy next.
