I There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think about you. I miss you, babe.
You were my wife for 22 beautiful years. Together we raised six children, built a business from the ground up, and shared a life that meant everything to me. Even though I don’t have the trailer anymore and I’m not smoking barbecue like we worked so hard to do together, every memory is still alive in my heart.
What hurts even more is knowing that the young man who painted our trailer is gone, and Leonard, the one who built the inside of it and was my best friend, is gone too. That pain still cuts deep. Some days it’s hard to put into words.
But every time I’m at the car show, I feel your presence. I remember how much you loved being there. You hugged everyone, laughed with everybody, and always made sure every customer left happy. You never treated people like customers—you treated them like family. I loved watching your beautiful personality light up every place we went.
You always made me laugh. You always encouraged me. You’d tell me what everyone was saying about the food, and seeing how proud you were made all the hard work worth it.
I miss our nights together, drinking your tea and rubbing your feet after those long days at fairs and festivals. I miss every little thing about us.
I’m having one of those moments right now. I miss waking up in the morning with you hitting me and jumping on me while I pretended it hurt… even though we both knew I secretly loved every second of it. 😂🥹
I’ll always love you. Thank you for giving me 22 years of memories that no one can ever take away. Until we meet again, you’ll forever be in my heart.
