It feels like summer’s been here a month already, but it’s just getting started. May-June are probably our biggest transitional months at the shop. New hires, staff vacations, “retirements”, it’s always a little hectic. The summer slow down starts for the next eight weeks, people start hitting concerts, baseball games, patios, bar patios, yard work, family trips,etc…But it does give a little time to work on some new things. First, the Chicken Robbie will make its way to the Signatures soon. It seems to have a little bit of a following. And ONE last batch of Guapo, I caved to the pressure. But we need room, because we’re rolling out a summer sauce. We get phone calls all the time asking, but we’ve never made a white pizza. It’s a very specific thing in pizza culture and I wanted to make sure we got the flavor profile right. Perfect for summer: olive oil, ricotta & Parmesan cheeses, with garlic, fresh herbs & tangy lemon vinaigrette. Have it plain or add your favorite toppings. The White Pie is finally here!
