We made some peach cobbler specialty syrup!!!!

Come try that, or our house made apple spice or pumpkin spice tomorrow! Or this evening if you're a late night coffee drinker.

Plus! It's been 5 months since we opened! We're so grateful for every single person who's sat at our bar, or added to our secret messages, or made a friend over coffee or donuts.... thank you.

You all mean so much to us.

Good morning!!!

There is so much more to espresso than just drinking it. The fine grind makes it harder for a measured amount of water to get through. Distributing and tamping the grounds makes sure you dont get channels where water bypasses the whole espresso puck.

Espresso is extracted with speed and pressure.

You want it to look kind of like honey as it's pouring.

And you want to be able to taste the full body of the beans, or add it to a latte!

We're happy to have .us supplying our single origin Panama espresso.

This post is late.

A few days ago, we got a piece of mail. Not just a letter–to the bar.

Marie L Shepherd sent us this adorable handwritten note and shark tooth ornament.

It brightened my day, and honestly my week.
Marie is a lovely human being who found our place, tried several things and landed on kava and cacao as her favorite. We've shared a lot about life and I'm grateful to call her friend.

This bar is about more than drinks. It's about the connections that form. People turn into friends after sitting at this bar. People feel seen and supported. People feel loved.

This is my favorite part about doing this. Seeing the ripples, and aiming to make a difference every day.

BTW it's BOGO kava and ktea today. :)

We feature locally roasted, single origin Panama espresso. We hand pull each shot of freshly ground espresso.

It's the first official day of fall, and I'm FALLing in love with the art of different beverages. I would love to make you something delightful. We have house made pumpkin spice and apple pie spice. A graham cracker garnish is lovely atop those lattes.
