It’s Leadership Thursday!!!

Okay, I guess it’s finally my turn…

You guys see our posts, events, and everything we do in the community, but you might not know the man behind the phone!

I’m Michael, Executive Director of Marketing & Sales here at Chick-fil-A! 👋🏼 I’m behind our social media, events, marketing, and a lot of what we do outside our four walls. I get to work with local businesses, schools, organizations, first responders, and so many amazing people in our community. It’s easily one of my favorite parts of what I do!

So now that you know who’s behind the phone… here’s a little about me!

What does being a leader mean to you?
Being able to inspire people. I want to be a reason people enjoy coming to work, someone they can learn from, and someone who helps them succeed in their future.

Best leadership advice?
Never mistake being feared for being a great leader. A great leader is respected, never feared. People should follow you because they trust you, not because they’re scared of you.

Favorite part about being a leader?
Inspiring people to be better and getting outside our four walls. I love representing Chick-fil-A, building relationships, and making an impact in our community.

Go-to order?
12-count grilled nuggets, side salad, fruit cup, and a Diet Dr Pepper!!

Favorite position?
EVENTS!! Being able to represent Chick-fil-A while having fun with our community is unbeatable. Inside the restaurant, definitely window! I get to meet so many people and learn something new every day. Never a dull moment !!!

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Still serving my community, just hopefully in a different role. My goal is to become a first responder, specifically in law enforcement. Helping people and serving my community has always been a passion of mine.

Leadership to me isn’t about being the boss. It’s about leaving people better than you found them, helping them see what they’re capable of, and being someone they can count on. As well as gaining lasting connections with my team inside and outside the business.🐮🐮

All though there’s no event you can still place your mobile order stay in your car and still have a chance at FREE Chick-fil-A for a year. As always it’s our pleasure to serve the community of North Platte🐮

It’s Team Member Tuesday!! This week we’re getting to know Jackson a little more!

Jackson is definitely someone we’re glad to have on our team. He comes in, does his thing, stays busy, and gets along with everyone. He’s also one of those people who genuinely enjoys getting to talk to our guests and meet new people, which is a huge part of what we do every day!

What’s your favorite position and why?
Window! He likes getting to talk to guests, meet new people, and he likes that it keeps him consistently busy throughout his shift.

What’s your go-to Chick-fil-A order?
Spicy Chicken Sandwich meal with fries and a S’mores Milkshake. Honestly, you can’t go wrong with that!!!!

Why do you enjoy working at Chick-fil-A?
The people! He loves that everyone is friendly, it’s a good work environment, and our guests are always great to interact with.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Jackson has some pretty awesome goals for himself! He hopes to be in college, hopefully earning a scholarship for basketball, having a place of his own, and working toward becoming a police officer. He’s even thinking about getting his degree in Criminal Justice to help him get there!

Jackson, keep working toward those goals and don’t lose sight of where you want to go. We’re happy to have you as part of our Chick-fil-A family and excited to see what the future has in store for you! 🐮

This week we’re shining the spotlight on BERT!!

Bert is part of our Executive Leadership Team, and we’re lucky to have him! He’s dependable, cares about his team, and believes leadership starts with the example you set.

What does being a leader mean to you?
Leading by example. There’s nothing Bert would ask someone else to do that he wouldn’t do himself. Being a leader means being trustworthy, dependable, and someone your team can count on.

Best leadership advice?
“You don’t have bad days, you just have bad moments. Don’t let a bad 15 minutes determine your whole 8 hours.”

Favorite part about Chick-fil-A?
It’s never the same! There are always new challenges and new journeys. They aren’t always the best 😂, but they’re still worthwhile because there’s always something to learn.

Go-to order?
A #1 with no pickles, Mac & Cheese with bacon, and a Sunjoy!

Favorite position?
Drinks & desserts! Guests get their drink before everything and dessert after everything, so Bert likes having the opportunity to start AND end their experience on a high note.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Bert is going to school for Business Management and Administration. He sees himself continuing to grow in leadership, taking on more responsibility, and building a career where he can help others learn, grow, and strive to become whoever and whatever they want to be.

We appreciate everything Bert brings to our team and the leadership he continues to show. We’re blessed to have you, Bert, and can’t wait to see where your future takes you!

Happy Leadership Thursday! ❤️🐔

Today is another Tuesday which means another team member spotlight!

This is James, he is an amazing employee and is working his way up the ladder on becoming a leader in the restaurant. He is always finding ways to better serve our restaurant and always greets with a warm smile! We love having James and the skills he brings to our team everyday!

Here is a bit more about James:

What is your favorite position and why?
Bagging drive thru orders and being on headset because I enjoy being able to be in a position where I can keep the drive thru flowing and being super hands on in the restaurant, and being able to talk to our guests in the headset at the same time!

James' go to order
I love the 8ct nuggets with Mac and cheese mixed with 2 honey roasted BBQ sauces mixed into my Mac and cheese.

Why do you enjoy working at Chick-fil-A?
I enjoy working here because its such a great experience being able to meet and greet new people everyday and seeing a smile on their face even on their worst days!

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
I see myself having my degree in cybersecurity, I would like to find a job and also see where life will take me next.

We are so honored to have James on our team and we can't wait to see where his determination and future will take him next!
