Thank You — Together, We Raised $12,500+ for Nepal 🇳🇵❤️
We are overwhelmed by the generosity shown by everyone who supported our Nepal Flood Relief Dinner at Zeera Indian Cuisine.
As promised from the beginning, Zeera is donating the gross revenue generated by the fundraiser — not the profit after expenses.
As of now, our community has generated $9,655.21 through the dinner, auction and additional contributions. We are keeping contributions open through Sunday. If the total remains below $10,000, Zeera Indian Cuisine will contribute the remaining amount needed to bring our donation to $10,000.
Most importantly, Zeera is covering all food costs, labor costs and other expenses associated with organizing and hosting the fundraiser. None of those costs will be deducted from the amount being donated.
We are also aware of $2,500+ donated directly to the Government of Nepal Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund using the QR code on our fundraiser flyers. Those donations went directly to the relief fund and never passed through Zeera. The $2,500+ represents only amounts voluntarily reported to us; we did not ask donors to disclose individual donation amounts out of respect for their privacy.
If we reach our $10,000 goal through Zeera, that will bring our known community impact to more than $12,500 — and we know the actual amount is higher.
Once the transfer is completed, we will send you proof of the transfer, as promised.
To everyone who attended, donated, participated in the auction, contributed items, volunteered, shared our message or donated directly through the QR code — thank you. Your generosity turned a community dinner into something much bigger.
