I want to share something close to my heart. ❤️🥔

I’m developing a new idea called Potatoes for Kids, built around the loaded baked potatoes you’ve come to know from Spuds-N-Subs.

My goal is to partner with hospitals and give $1 from every potato sold through Potatoes for Kids to support children through the participating hospital.

We’re just getting started, but I believe a great potato can do some good. If you know someone who works with a children’s hospital or hospital cafeteria, I’d be grateful for an introduction.

Does anyone know someone who currently works for Aramark—especially in college dining, foodservice operations, business development, or new restaurant concepts? I’m looking for the right person to introduce Spuds‑N‑Subs as a compact campus dining concept. We’ve built a proven, highly rated concept that can operate in approximately 300–400 square feet with limited equipment and fast service.

Google has temporarily restricted new reviews on our business profile for 30 days because its system flagged some reviews as suspicious. We want everyone to know that we have never purchased reviews or asked anyone to leave a dishonest review.

I normally don’t post things like this, but I want our customers to know what happened.

Google has restricted the Spuds-N-Subs Business Profile, claiming “fake engagement” connected to our customer reviews.

I want to be completely clear: We have never purchased reviews, created fake reviews, or offered anyone free food or discounts in exchange for a review. The wonderful reviews we’ve received came from real customers who visited our restaurant and chose to share their experiences.

We have worked extremely hard to earn our 4.9-star reputation. Every loaded spud, sub and customer experience matters to us, which is why this is so frustrating and disappointing.

We are appealing Google’s decision and asking them to manually review the situation. In the meantime, please continue supporting Spuds-N-Subs by stopping in, sharing this post and telling your friends about us.

To every customer who has supported our small business: Thank you. We appreciate you more than you know, and we will keep doing what we have always done—serving great food and treating people right.
