Meet 2 of The Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach's longest-running residents...
🐾 Conway Twitty has been in the shelter for the last 2 YEARS of his life!! Dogs' lives are way too short to spend that much time in a shelter (although I know NMB is treating him the best possible and loves him dearly)... we know this boy deserves a soft place to rest his head. This 7-year-old baby came to the shelter with some tough battle scars-several wounds caused by another animal or a human. Conway is pretty mellow, but when the mood strikes, he loves a good run around the yard. He's a loyal boy who sticks by our side through thick and thin. Could he be your next best friend?
🐾 Dirk is the 2nd longest resident, and he is an adorable tripod that would LOVE to go on swimming adventures with you! He doesn't let his missing leg hold him back, and we can all learn a thing or two from his resilience. He runs, he jumps, and he greets everyone with the most heartwarming hugs. His favorite thing in the world? Stuffed animals! Dirk always has one in his mouth and is happiest when he's surrounded by his plushy collection. When he's not showing off his playful side, you can find him curled up on the couch, living his best couch potato life. Dirk is loyal, loving, and ready to find his forever family, a family who will celebrate his resilience and spoil him with all the stuffed animals and cuddles he deserves. Dirk would do best as an only pet.
