In her “Animal Portraits in Oils” workshop, shares the classical realism techniques she spent years mastering abroad and applies them to the subjects she loves most: animals. Her work is driven by a belief that the bond we have with them deserves to be taken seriously as art.

Set in the heart of Vermont’s Green Mountains, our historic inn and light-filled studio offer the perfect space to slow down, connect, and create.

With over 20 workshops throughout the year, personalized instruction, and a full room-and-board experience (yes, three delicious meals a day!), all you have to do is show up and make art.

We are so excited to host a community BBQ on Friday, July 3 from 3-7pm! $20 for adults and $10 for kids gets you burgers, hot dogs, and sides, all served on our beautiful new patio and lawn space. We'll be playing classic rock all afternoon and you're welcome to dress up with an 80's theme for funsies. Canned drinks will be available for purchase, and water is free - optional to bring your own water bottle to refill too :)

Bring your lawn chairs for extra seating, or enjoy one of our new patio tables. After you're full of yummy eats, head over to Line Dancing at the Landgrove village. It's all part of the local festivities to celebrate 250 years of America on the holiday weekend.
