Hello everyone. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Sadly we have decided to close River’s Edge permanently for health reasons.
The happier news is that someone else will be opening a cafe in its place! I am excited for the new owners and wish them all the success in the world!
We so appreciate all of the Facebook followers and patrons that were able to visit River’s Edge. You were all so positive and encouraging. In the short time the doors were open we experienced a feeling of community and trust.
Please know that if you have a River’s Edge gift certificate, it will be honored at the new
cafe.

River’s Edge unfortunately will be closed Friday and Saturday. I apologize for the untimely closure(s) but I am dealing some crazy back issues. I need to rest and heal and come up with a plan for reopening. I am grateful for your patience and understanding.

Good morning everyone! Unfortunately, we are going to have to stay closed today, Saturday. I’m dealing with a little unforeseen illness. We will be back up and running on Monday the 5th.
The first two days open were magical! I have some amazing coworkers helping me to launch this special little place. They work so hard! We are making so many new friends and reconnecting with the past.
Also, the Saturday hours will be 8 AM - 2 PM.
I apologize for the closing but we are looking so forward to seeing everyone very soon! 🌻

Hello everyone! The big day is finally here! River’s Edge Coffee & Eats is ready to open! We are planning a soft opening on Thursday the 1st, Friday the 2nd and Saturday the 3rd. 7am - 4pm. We’ll have coffee, espresso drinks, chili and baked goods. This will give us a chance to get our feet wet and for you to check out North Lakes newest gathering spot. See you soon!

Our prayers were answered this afternoon! Thank you to Alyssa, Joe, Chad and 2 other young men all from Hartland Overhead Door that stepped up and moved the cafe equipment from our garage to River’s Edge. Just like that! They made sure everything got inside and even set up my oven! I still can’t believe it..Such an amazing act of kindness.

This showed up this morning!! It won’t be long and we’ll be cranking out Valentine Coffee and Espresso drinks!
I have run into a snafu and I’m reaching out to my followers for ideas. I have three pieces of large equipment that are in my garage that need to come and live at the café. An oven, sandwich prep table and a 2 door commercial fridge. We found a trailer to rent that has a liftgate on it, but the ball on our truck is too small and we can’t get it off to replace it. So what I need is a truck with a ball that is 2 and 5/16 inches to tow the trailer or something else to haul the equipment with. The double door refrigerator is the stinker. It’s 80 inches tall. Does anyone out there have any ideas?
