✨ A New Chapter Begins… ✨

As many of you know, Canggio is preparing for an exciting new chapter.

To help clarify our transition, our Norwich location will serve its final brunch on Sunday, August 23. After that, we will officially close our Norwich doors as we prepare for our next adventure.

We’re excited to share that we’ll be welcoming you to our new location beginning Wednesday, September 2! While our address is changing, our passion for creating memorable dining experiences, serving delicious food, and welcoming you like family remains exactly the same.

We are incredibly grateful for the support you’ve shown us throughout our time in Norwich, and we can’t wait to continue making memories with you in our new home.

Thank you for being part of our journey. We’ll see you for one last brunch in Norwich on August 23, and then we’ll see you again when we open our doors on September 2. ❤️

Owning a small business is one of the greatest blessings, but it's also one of the greatest reminders that we were never meant to carry everything on our own.

Sometimes, the most productive thing we can do is rest.

As business owners, it's easy to believe we always have to be "on." But our identity isn't found in how many hours we work or how busy we stay. Our calling is to remain rooted in Christ, obedient to His leading, and faithful with what He's entrusted to us.

God's Word reminds us:

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart... in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5–6

And,

"Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established." Proverbs 16:3

We truly believe that obedience will always produce a greater harvest than striving ever could. The same God who called us to this business is the God who provides for it.

With that in mind, 809 Cafe will be closed tomorrow, and potentially for the remainder of the week, as we take intentional time to rest, seek the Lord, and return refreshed for what He has ahead.

Thank you for your grace, your prayers, and your continued support of our family-owned business. We appreciate each and every one of you, and we look forward to serving you.

The rumors are true, WE BOUGHT A BAGEL SHOP! 🎉

As some of you have sussed out from our unintentional teaser post, we have purchased the iconic Whistle Stop building, just around the corner from our current shop.

Our new location will feature a dining room, a huge patio for relaxing in the warmer months, and many other upgrades that you’ve been asking for (and some you didn’t know you needed!) Best of all, more space=more bagels!

Follow along as we do some light renovations to the space! We are aiming to make our move sometime this fall—in time for the holiday season. Our current location remains open for all of your bagel needs!

We are very excited to nestle a little deeper into the community, provide more space and a better experience, and continue to serve you the best bagels and breakfast around!
