A glimpse of what’s coming out of the Riva Mare kitchen.

Our menu takes its cues from the Italian coast, with fresh seafood, seasonal ingredients, house-made pastas, wood-fired pizzas, and bright, thoughtful dishes made for warm Charleston days and long evenings on the rooftop.

As we get ready to open our doors this Friday, a moment for the place we’re lucky to call home.

Navy Yard Charleston is a study in transformation, nearly a century of maritime history, enduring architecture, and a new generation of makers, designers, and creative voices gathering within it.

On the rooftop of Storehouse 9, within the Charleston Design District, Riva Mare brings the spirit of the Italian coast to Navy Yard, where Charleston’s maritime character meets coastal Italian cuisine, and history gives way to something new.

We’re grateful to be part of a place that understands the best new chapters are built with respect for the ones before them.

Join us on Tuesday, August 4 as Chef Sean McMullen previews what’s to come at Riva Mare with a menu inspired by the Italian coast.

Menu highlights include tuna crudo, snapper tartare with charred corn, heirloom tomatoes with blackberry, trofie alla genovese, lemon delight and more.

Paired with the wines, b**r, cocktails, and hospitality you already know and love at Stems & Skins.
