Hope to see some of at Tighthead Brewing Company today from 5pm for another braai popup (yes, still a popup as the braai bus is not ready yet).

By the way - Walt Disney World has now added Boerie Rolls to it's menu in Florida. If you want a boerie roll, no need to fly to Florida, we have them right here, homemade and topped with chakalaka - lekker.

Friday from 3 - 7pm at Lake Zurich Farmers Market; Saturday from 5 - 8pm at Buffalo Creek Brewing and Sunday from 2 - 6pm at Kishwaukee Brewing Company. Alright okes - time to talk about the humble, but ever so popular braaibroodjie. Hearty bread, Mrs Balls Chutney, onion, tomato and of course cheese all thrown on the grill until a toasty melty perfection is achieved. The big questions:
1 - What type of cheese?
2 - Sauteed or raw onion?
3 - Do changes from the basic recipe count?
