McDonald Fish Camp March 17, 1977. The restaurant originally seated only 95 people and now it seats 250 people. Ya'll Come!!

The Bass Family invites you to come and enjoy the country environment with a beautiful pond view. The children will enjoy feeding the many different animals - goats, chickens, ducks, peacocks and fish. The restaurant specializes in channel catfish. They are famous for their all-you-can-eat grits and hushpuppies bar. The restaurant is smoke free and alcohol free.

At Old McDonald Fish Camp in North Augusta, South Carolina, dinner feels more like a fun outing than a meal. Open since 1977, this family-run spot sits beside a pond where you can feed goats, ducks, chickens, and even peacocks before heading inside. The dining room smells of fried catfish and hushpuppies the moment you walk in. Every meal comes with an all-you-can-eat bar of grits, hushpuppies, and dill pickles. The top pick is farm-raised channel catfish, but you can also dig into oysters, scallops, frog legs, and deviled crab. Big portions, even bigger flavor—Southern comfort at its best.

We regret to inform you that due to an unexpected propane tank malfunction, we are unable to continue cooking for the rest of the night. As a result, we must unfortunately close our doors for the rest of the evening. We sincerely apologize to those who were waiting for a table.

We are working to resolve the issue and we look forward to welcoming y’all back on Thursday!
