๐ด 25 years of Tour de Acoma. 25 years of miles, memories, and bringing people together.
This milestone year is a celebration of the riders, volunteers, partners and community who have helped make Tour de Acoma a tradition for the past 25 years.
As Pueblo of Acoma Governor Charles P. Riley shares:
โReaching the 25th anniversary of Tour de Acoma is a profound moment for our Pueblo. This event reflects the strength, resilience, and unity of our people, while welcoming visitors to experience the beauty of our lands and supporting the preservation of our culture. We are honored to continue this tradition and grateful to every rider, volunteer, and partner who helps sustain the Sky City Cultural Center & Haakโu Museum. Tour de Acoma is more than a ride; it is a celebration of who we are.โ
And after nearly 20 years of riding together on a tandem, Michael & Linda Stogner know a thing or two about what it takes to go the distance:
โAfter almost 20 years of riding Tour de Acoma on a tandem, weโve learned two things: communication is keyโฆ and so is agreeing on who gets to stop pedaling on the hills. This ride has tested our legs, our teamwork, and occasionally our partnership โ but we wouldnโt trade a single mile. Tour de Acoma is our annual reminder that if you can survive this many miles on one bike together, you can survive anything.โ
Whether youโre joining us for your first Tour de Acoma or returning for another year, we canโt wait to see you on the road.
