A little magic has always lived in my kitchen.

It took years of mixing, testing, adjusting, and starting over to truly master the art of making donuts. Like candy making, it became more than something I simply made—it became a passion, shaped by patience, practice, and plenty of sweet memories.

As I look back on all those years of creating donuts, I’m bringing that experience into this year’s Fall Donut Preorder Menu. 🍂

A few of the flavors we’re working on include:

🍁 Maine Maple
🍎 Apple Butter Crumble
🎃 Pumpkin Spice
🍊 Cranberry Orange
🫐 Maine Blueberry
🤎 Warm Caramel

The final menu—and preorder details—will be coming soon.

Made by hand — made to last.

Bringing all the ideas I have had in my little book for years are finally coming to life.....

Introducing a first glimpse of the **Hearthside Winter Gown**—created for the woman who wants to settle beside the fire and simply be warm, comfortable and completely at ease.

Generously cut in dark, beautifully textured fabric, this gown is being designed with natural fullness, roomy sleeves, deep pockets and delicate details inspired by old-fashioned winter comfort. Hidden fabric-covered finger rings will help lift the gown while climbing the stairs, leaving your hands free to carry the things that matter.

No ruffles. No fuss. Just timeless beauty, thoughtful practicality and the feeling of being wrapped in warmth on a cold Maine night.

The Hearthside Winter Gown is still taking shape—but winter is coming.

**Made by hand — made to last.**

There’s something almost unexplainable about what fall does to the soul. It brings that quiet, comforting feeling that the very best months of the year are finally on their way. 🍂✨

My love of candy making began in the kitchen when I was a child, preparing Christmas sweets alongside my aunt. To say I had dipped more peanut butter balls before the age of fourteen than most families eat in a lifetime would probably be an understatement.

Those hours in the kitchen stayed with me. They sparked a lifelong desire to learn the time-honored techniques behind old-fashioned candy making—the kind that requires patience, care and plenty of late nights.

At this time of year, I can’t help but think of my aunt gathering her tins, ingredients and supplies, preparing for those quiet, wee-hour candy-making sessions before the holidays. In honor of those treasured memories—and the traditions she passed down to me—we’ll have our handmade peanut brittle and a selection of our other old-fashioned candies available during this weekend’s porch sale.

We’re also in the middle of improving the porch area and introducing our new packaging, so things may look a little different while everything comes together. Thank you for being patient with me as I navigate it all. I’m currently a hormonal, menopausal space cadet more often than I care to admit—but every bit of this is being created with love.

We are still accepting custom orders. As many of you know, our calendar often fills six to seven months in advance, but we will always do our best to accommodate you whenever we can.

Thank you for supporting our little Maine business, for growing with us and for allowing me to continue the traditions that first began in my aunt’s kitchen. It means more than I could ever properly put into words.
