Loyal customers and friends,

We are entering a new chapter in our lives and wish to inform you of our recent decision as a family …
We will be closing Al Smith's Superette and Sub Shop as of June 28th, 2025.

Our grandfather started this business in 1907, and after 3 generations it is time for us to retire.

As a note … our brother, George, will still be fully open and operating Smith's Auto Parts & Hardware.

A big thank you to all the past employees! We want to spotlight Bill paige - 45 years of service, Linda vari - over 30 years of service. A BIG thank you to Louise (Lou) Gardner & Donna Kaiser for their many years of service as well, and staying on with us until the very end. ❤️

We are beyond grateful and appreciative for the customers and vendors who have stood by us and supported our family throughout the years. We are grateful for the memories, relationships and experiences. What a journey it has been!

As we look ahead, we are excited to spend quality time with our family and explore new adventures.
