Still high from JOY for ALL day with and last Saturday!!?
So am I!

Shout out to all of the creatives out there!
There were some very dope works out there from the Potato Palette table, but
the most creative bowl of Tot Art submitted for us was from 🥁 🥁🥁🥁!

Which entitles her to a picnic for 2 packed and delivered on the during a special event with the first week of May!!🥪🍹

Thank you to Ann and the wonderful ladies of her book club for allowing me to make a pot of gumbo and sweet potato VA ham biscuits for their meet-up last night.
When I was a kid...well, well beyond a kid🤣 my mom would make me a lil separate pot of gumbo WITHOUT the slimy accompaniment of okra... yesterday I ate it with okra for the first time. Love you, mom!!

Sidenote: Roux is cooked til it smells like burnt popcorn. Also, kelp is great for adding a lil more "sea" flavor.
