Saturday tomorrow and the weather looks perfect for the pumpkin patch! 🎃 🚂 🎨 👻 🍁
Open 8am-8pm
We do have to cut off our breakfast menu at 10am tomorrow to get ready for our lunch menu.
Basic burgers (no deluxes or fries), sloppy joes, super nachos, and taco in a bag. Chicken wild rice soup and chili as well.
Pies-Pumpkin, Strawberry Rhubarb, and Apple.
And lots and lots of caramel rolls!
At 2pm we will be doing the kids craft which is sponsored by Burke-Divide Electric. They are also generously offering free hot chocolate or c***r to those that attend! Come make a cute little pencil topper and enjoy a sweet drink ☺️

Throw on your best western wear and join us at the 109 Club and Steakhouse on October 24th for an evening of mystery and fun! 🤠
Please let Lucy know asap if you’d like to participate. You will receive info about your character so you can dress the part if you would like. There will be prizes for best dressed, best actor, and best detective. Cost of gameplay will be determined depending how many sign up-so convince your friends, the more the merrier!

It’s 1870 in the town of Dead Man, Kansas, USA. There’s a big crowd whoopin’ it up in Dead Man’s Saloon. The clock on the wall shows high noon—but then, it always does. All at once, word spreads that there’s going to be a shootout on Main Street. The crowd rushes outside to watch, but the street is deserted. Suddenly, two shots ring out from behind them, inside the saloon.

When the crowd hurries back in, they find the dead body of Deputy Drinkwater, shot through the heart. Somebody must have stayed behind to do the evil deed. Was it One-Eyed Pete, the black-hatted outlaw? Or Patty Petticoat, the saloon dancer with the mysterious past? Or Waylin Straum, the singing cowpuncher?

Who knows, pardner? Maybe it was—YOU!

We are open 12pm-8pm today!
The weather might not be terrific but we sure don’t need to be bored! So many fun little crafts available!
Cafe will be limited to our pumpkin patch menu but still plenty to choose from along with lots of tasty treats!

If you are out and about hunting tomorrow and need a quick little something to get you back on your way—-stop out at Hygge Hills!
We will have Chili, Sloppy Joes, and Taco in a bag to grab quick and be back on the hunt. Or if you’re wanting to rest a bit, order a burger and fries off the menu. Finish up with a fresh slice of pie!
And if you’re wanting pumpkin patch shenanigans—we’ve got plenty of that! No charge to come and play. Train will run when I can. Grab a pumpkin latte and go find the perfect pumpkin in the patch 🎃

I love how these two projects turned out!
Aaaaand your littles have a chance to come make their own - for free!
Come out this Saturday, October 10th at 2pm, and adopt your own mystery wiggle critter. You can pick the cage, sand, shovel, and gems to take care of it. This project is free for the first 20 kids thanks to Hannah Montoya at American Family Insurance.
Saturday, October 17th at 2pm, we will be making these super cool Halloween snowglobe pencil shakers. This project will be sponsored by Burke-Divide Electric Cooperative, so come on out and make the coolest reusable pencil topper around!

Well all I have to say after today is thank you!
Thanks to the kids, the BC FBLA crew, the Hygge Hills helpers, the parents, and the cafe patrons who had a bit of a crazy welcome when they came for lunch. Thank you!!
What a way to start off the Pumpkin Patch this year!
We hope you all had a fun day! We’ll be at it for another month with the train on the weekends (and special visits), crafting, tasty food and treats, and lots of play!
Sunday tomorrow and while we did run out of supernachos today we will have the rest of the pumpkin patch menu tomorrow (…crispitos!) and I am really thinking a good taco soup tomorrow will be perfect to add to the menu for our Sunday special.
See you tomorrow from 12pm-8pm 🎃

Also want to add for Carnival Day today-
If you can’t make it until later you can still participate in the costume contest without a carnival wristband. And if there’s still cookies left after 1:30 you can still do the cookie decorating contest as well!
