With the weather finally warming up, I wanted to take a moment to say thank you to this community for the way you showed up for each other during the ice storm.
As a small business owner, I was especially grateful to see people calling attention to how hard forced shutdowns can be on small businesses. As an ice cream shop, I honestly didn’t expect to be on anyone’s radar—but I was wrong.
To everyone who stopped by, shared a kind word, or made a point to support us and other local businesses: you reminded me why I love being here. I'm incredibly thankful to be part of a community that cares this much.
