Carded a girl Saturday night who gave me attitude, asked me if I was serious, said it was in her car blah blah blah….she of course went out and got it or she would have been told to leave. A few minutes later the bartender in training struck up a conversation with the girl who then told her how fun it was to be a bartender and listed the places off where she has bartended at. I thought she was a do**he bag when she gave the attitude about needing her ID but her dounchebaginess sky rocketed even higher when she said she was previous a bartender.
Picture this You pull up to a dive bar like you’re starring in an action movie. The parking lot crunches under your tires. The jukebox is screaming. Someone is already arguing with a pool table.
Bartender - Can I see your ID
Guest - I come here every day.
Cool Still need your ID.
I know the owner.
Awesome He still has an ID too.
I’ve got a picture of it.
Fantastic I’ve got a picture of a million dollars in my phone. Neither one buys you a b**r.
It’s expired.
So is the milk in my fridge. Doesn’t make it acceptable.
I lost it
That sounds like a terrible, but it doesn’t magically create a new one.
I’m 47
You could be 147 years old and remember when dinosaurs had happy hour. We Still Need Your ID.
Every weekend people act like asking for an ID is some shocking plot twist that nobody saw coming. It’s a bar… not a witness protection program. So before you leave the house, grab your wallet, your keys, your phone… and that little plastic rectangle that prevents a five minute debate at the front door.
DBM out!!!
