Ginger's Cafe will be open on Labor Day with normal hours of 7-2.  As they say there’s no rest for the wicked. Breakfast served all day, every day and you can have lunch all day every day.

Happy hump day for those that work Monday-Friday. For those of us that works 7 days a week, well, it’s just another day.
Join us today for breakfast or lunch
Thursday is the first day of featuring Pan Fried Chicken Livers or meatloaf.
Noth come with mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans or glazed carrots and a roll
Friday will be potluck as we are getting ready for the car show at Forest Park and Sunday we are doing the sides for a RibFest in Carmel.

Happy Monday, my hope is that everyone had a great weekend and are starting their week on the right foot, or left, no worries.
Some easy din er ideas from yours truly include Chicken Pot Pies, Meatloaf, mashed potatoes and green beans or maybe chicken and noodles sound good. They are all ready to re heat and enjoy.
Tenderloin or Hamburgers and fries are whats coming up for lunch.

Good morning, hope your day goes as planned and no hiccups in sight. Be sure to stop in today for lunch, bringing out one our most popular meals-Chicken and Noodles, mashed potatoes, carrots and a roll. Starts at 11:00.
Tomorrow’s lunch line up is Meatloaf or Beef Manhattans. Yummy, yummy.

I’m at a loss for words concerning the flooding in and around our little town. I have lived here my whole life and do not recall so much water. I have received call from out of state saying it’s on their local news reports showing concern and wonderment.
I pray for everyone who is dealing with financial stress, loss of cars and precious momentos. The coming weeks are going to be rough, please do your best to not be discouraged and show yourself some grace.
We have a great community and my hope is that we all come together and lend a hand or support a neighbor in need. Small acts of kindness go a long way.

New week, new calls to action. Trying to work on my never ending to do list, which has a way of miraculously rearranging itself. I keep swimming but the waves keep knocking me down.

Not to be deterred, the show must go on. The special item for the Monday special didn’t show up on the truck, so sorry no special today, but there are many other options on the regular menu. Breakfast served all day, every day and lunch served all day every day 7-2.

Keep a lookout for motorcycle riders today. There are a lot of rides this weekend and regular folks taking advantage of the beautiful day.
