JUMP START! Some days at The Cabana at the Nisky town pool, things are really busy, but other days not so much. So our amazing staff of youngsters asked for more stuff to do during the downtime. Wouldn’t you know it… we have about 20,000 luminary bags to fold! And since our owner never met a bag he couldn’t rip, we called in “The Savage” to come do a training. Our team picked it up really quick and if you can believe it, we’re looking at a four month head start right now (!!!). And for anyone else looking to pitch in while sitting at the pool, just feel free to ask the concession crew for a stack of bags to fold while pretending to watch your kids!

THANK YOU! Between the auction funds and the “pay what you want” event, our Nisky life skills program raised a total of $1960! Ironically that’s the same year as the Brewski truck! We had a fantastic turnout tonight and were both surprised and pleased to be joined by some of the life skills students themselves (who pulled root beers for folks - talk about a life skill), their parents, and program facilitators. Thank you so much to everyone who stepped up. Three days ago we teased that this would be awesome, meaningful, unique, special and important… and it was exactly that. Thanks again!
