THE FIRST FALL CART IS TOMORROW!

The Bakery Stand Treat Cart will be OPEN tomorrow, Friday, September 4th, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. or sellout!

244 Jason Drive, Nicholasville, KY 40356

This is a self-service stand. No holds, no pre-orders, and no pre-pay. Everything is first come, first served. Come by, grab whatever treats you want, and enjoy!

Cash App and Venmo QR codes will be on top of the cooler, and there will also be a money box for exact cash. Feel free to park in the driveway while you shop!

I know it is going to be a VERY hot day tomorrow, but please don't let that stop you from coming out and celebrating our very first fall cart of the season with me!

Because of the heat, anything that could possibly melt or needs to stay cool will be inside the cooler, including the oatmeal cream pies. A few things, like the peanut butter blossoms, will stay out because I personally think they're even better when that chocolate gets just a little melty! Make sure you check both the shelves and the cooler when you come by.

Some items are limited in quantity, so come early for the best selection! I made A LOT for tomorrow, and I am so excited for our first fall cart!

If I still have treats available at 4 p.m., I may leave the cooler out into the evening until sundown. I will keep everyone updated here on the page if I decide to extend the hours.

This is just the beginning of fall at Kate's Cocoa Kitchen! Over the next several carts, I'll be mixing in plenty of fall treats along with some other holiday favorites and a few things you loved this summer. Then November and December will be filled with lots of seasonal goodies and treats!

I hope you can make it out tomorrow! Tag someone in the comments who needs to come grab treats with you, and please feel free to share this post and help me get the word out!

Thank you all so much for continuing to support my little bakery and for coming out to celebrate the start of fall with me. I appreciate you more than you know!

A little heads up for everyone coming to the Bakery Stand & Treat Cart tomorrow!

We had our big maple tree in the front yard taken down this week, and our house looks VERY different without it. In fact, I’m posting this because I have driven past my own house twice now because I didn’t recognize it!

It was a beautiful tree, and we really did love it, but unfortunately it had started causing quite a few problems. We’ve repeatedly had large branches come down, including one that broke the back windshield of our vehicle, and the tree was damaging our driveway, sidewalk, and front yard. As much as we hated to see it go, removing it had become the safest and best decision for our home.

So if you’re coming to the cart tomorrow and think, “Wait, is this the right house?” I promise it is! Kate’s Cocoa Kitchen is definitely a whole lot easier to spot from the road now.

Same house, same porch, same treats. Just one very big tree missing!

Just another little teaser of what will be waiting for you at the Bakery Stand & Treat Cart this Friday, September 4th!

The cart will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. or until sold out at 244 Jason Drive, Nicholasville, Kentucky 40356.

Coming back to the cart Friday are my Peanut Butter Blossoms! These were a massive hit the last time I made them, so I am so happy to bring them back!

Also returning are my Mini Pecan Tarts!

Now, I was supposed to have these in actual mini pie pans this time. However, my Amazon package has now been delayed three times, and I'm not sure if it will make it here tomorrow in time. So, they might be in the little heart tins again, but you know what? Hearts mean love, and I absolutely love how much you all come out and support me, so I think it works!

These are just a couple of the treats you'll find on Friday. The FULL MENU will be released tomorrow night!

You'll notice a little something different when you come to my cart on Friday. I'll be posting about that tomorrow!

I hope you all had a fantastic day, and I cannot wait to see you Friday!

Angel food cake with strawberry buttercream is such a favorite of mine to make! This one went out for a birthday, and I heard that as always, it was hoarded by the birthday man 😆

Hey everyone, and welcome to this week’s Sunday Recap!

This was a big, bold, and beautiful week for me! I had a baby shower, several birthdays, including a dual themed twins’ birthday party that I cannot wait to show you, a Just Because order, and, of course, our Everyone’s Favorites Cart, which definitely turned out to be everyone’s favorite!

Yesterday was absolutely amazing. We sold out right around noon, and I am still so incredibly grateful. I definitely see more Saturday carts in our future!

Our next cart is this Friday, September 4th, and it is our FIRST FALL CART! I am so excited! I’ll have pumpkin roll, apple treats, pumpkin treats, s’mores brownies, and so much more. I’ll also have a couple of non fall favorites, including chocolate covered grapes because, as always, those were a huge hit!

I am so grateful and so blessed by every single person who took time out of their day to come see me, support my little business, or send me encouraging words and messages. You guys are absolutely amazing, and I appreciate you more than you know.

On the personal side, I am SO excited because I am getting my office back! Over time, my office had turned into more of a storage room and still had bunk beds from when we were foster parents. This week we cleaned everything out, and I am so excited to have a dedicated space again for all of my non baking work. I’ll probably show you guys once I get everything put together because I am way too excited about it!

I also started a new zombie show called Black Summer this week, and I have really enjoyed it so far. Of course, I also watched a new shark movie because would it really be a normal week for me if I didn’t?

I tried a new creamy, cheesy chicken and potato recipe for dinner one night, and it was absolutely delicious. My husband and I both loved it so much!

And after yesterday’s cart, I took the most glorious nap. It lasted quite a bit longer than I intended because I managed to fall asleep before I could even set an alarm. Apparently I needed it!

Now for this week’s small business feature!

I am starting an entirely new series that I’ll be spreading out over the next couple of months, highlighting local cake and cookie makers!

As many of you know, I do not offer decorated cookies, and while I can make you a very tasty cake, highly decorated cakes are not my specialty. Thankfully, we have some absolutely incredible bakers and decorators in our area whose work deserves to be seen and celebrated!

I wanted to start this series with an amazing cookie artist who has been creating absolutely incredible work.

Jordan's Cookie Corner

Jordan Chapman Creech opened her bakery in 2025, and her journey since then has been nothing short of fantastic. She has created some truly incredible work. The creativity and skill she puts into her cookies is unbelievable. When she sent me pictures of some of her favorite creations, it was SO hard to choose just a few because they were all so good!

But, of course, I went with the dinosaurs as some of my favorites. I’m sure absolutely no one is surprised by that choice!

Jordan is incredibly talented and has been putting out fantastic work from the start. If you are looking for beautifully decorated cookies, she is a wonderful option. Beyond her talent, she is also such a kindhearted and loving person, and I feel incredibly blessed to be able to stand alongside her as a fellow baker and baking sister.

Amazing work, Jordan, as always!

I am so excited to introduce you to more of our local bakers, cookie artists, and cake decorators over the next few months. I truly believe it is so important to uplift the people who work alongside us. There is room for all of us to create, grow, and succeed. We are better when we support one another than when we compete against one another.

I hope you all have a wonderful week ahead! Happy Sunday, get some rest, and get ready for a brand new week.

I hope to see many of you this Friday, September 4th, for our First Fall Cart!

SOLD OUT!!!

You guys. Thank you so very, very much from the bottom of my heart.

We started this morning with 504 items, and we ended with exactly ZERO. Every single treat is gone, and that is entirely because of you.

Thank you for taking the time to come out today. Thank you for supporting local. Thank you for supporting my little business. And most of all, thank you for continuing to show up for me time and time again.

I really needed a win to close out this month, and you all gave me one today. I cannot tell you how much that means to me.

I am so incredibly grateful for every single person who stopped by, shared my posts, told a friend, or continues to support what I do. You all are absolutely incredible, and you truly made my day today.

Our next Bakery Stand & Treat Cart will be NEXT FRIDAY for our FIRST FALL CART! There will be lots of pumpkin everything, including, YES, pumpkin roll! I am already so excited!

But for now, I am going to finish up the last of my baking and then take a nice, long, very well deserved nap.

504 treats to ZERO.

Thank you. Thank you. THANK YOU! I appreciate you more than you will ever know.
