Thrift Fest NJ just hit another huge milestone, and we can’t thank you enough. Every follow, share, comment, invite, and word-of-mouth recommendation has helped turn this event into something bigger than we ever imagined.

And we’re not slowing down.

Tomorrow, we’ll officially reveal the LAST vendor joining the Thrift Fest NJ lineup!

12 DAYS UNTIL THRIFT FEST NJ

As we get closer to September 26, I wanted to take a day away from talking about what you can buy, what you can eat, or what you might find and talk about why we’re doing this in the first place.

Thrift Fest NJ was created to bring people together. Of course we want everyone to come out, find some great stuff, enjoy the music, grab some food and have a good time but we also wanted this event to have a purpose beyond shopping.

That means supporting our community and bringing attention to things that matter, including homelessness prevention, alcohol and drug prevention, and mental health awareness.

Benny’s Bodega will be on site collecting donations of non-perishable food and cleaning supplies. Instead of charging admission, we’re simply asking those who are able to bring something to donate.

We’ll also have The Center for Prevention & Counseling on site, giving people an opportunity to learn more about the resources and support available right here in our community.

Thrift Fest is about good finds and a good time, but it’s also about using the event we’ve built to do some good while we’re all together.

Come thrift. Come eat. Come listen to some music. Come support local. Come be part of the community.

14 DAYS. TWO WEEKS UNTIL THRIFT FEST NJ.

It’s crazy to think we’re officially only two weeks away.

What started as an idea has turned into a full day of vendors, thrifting, live music, food, local businesses and people coming together right here in Newton.

A lot of work has gone into putting this together, and now we’re at the point where we can finally start counting the days instead of the months.

If you’ve been following along, sharing our posts, telling your friends or planning on coming out — thank you. We’re excited to finally see all of this come together.

Dead Threadz NJ is proud to present our next local event — DEADSTOCK.

I’ll be partnering with Daniel from Jumboland Diner and Nicole from Phoenix Rose Rising Entertainment to bring you our first DeadStock pop-up: a Halloween-themed afternoon built around thrifting, vintage, horror, live music, local food, and community.

We’re putting our own spin on Trunk or Treat too. Participating vendors will have candy at their booths so kids can make their way through the event, trick-or-treat, and enjoy Halloween while everyone else digs through some incredible local vendors.

Expect thrift and vintage finds, horror collectibles, live bands throughout the day, local eats and drinks, and plenty of Halloween atmosphere. Music will be curated by Phoenix Rose Rising Entertainment.

WANT TO VEND AT DEADSTOCK?

We’re officially looking for vendors who want to be part of the first one. If you sell vintage, clothing, collectibles, horror, art, handmade goods, or something you think belongs at DeadStock, we want to hear from you.

The countdown is officially ON.

On September 26, Memory Park in Newton is turning into a full day of thrifting, vendors, live music, food, collectibles, streetwear, vintage, local businesses and one hell of a community coming together.

And the best part? NO admission fee. We’re asking everyone who can to bring non-perishable food or cleaning supplies to support Benny’s Bodega and help give back to people right here in our community.

15 DAYS UNTIL THRIFT FEST NJ!

Thrift Fest was never meant to be just a place to come shop. We wanted to create something where people could spend the day, find some great stuff, support local businesses, hear some live music, grab some food and just enjoy being part of the community.

A huge part of bringing that atmosphere together is Phoenix Rose Rising Entertainment, who will be handling the music throughout the day and helping us make Thrift Fest feel like an actual event, not just another vendor market.

We’re officially just over two weeks away, and everything we’ve been working on is starting to come together.

A LOT OF BIG NEWS TO SHARE

First things first the Season 2 finale of The Neon Graveyard is officially being pushed back until NEXT FRIDAY.

There’s just way too much happening this weekend, and instead of rushing the finale, I want to give it the time it deserves.

Tomorrow is a BIG one. I’m hosting a charity Whatnot show raising money for To Write Love on Her Arms, and we’re shooting for a $250 goal. I’d love to see as many of you there as possible. Bookmark the show, stop in, share it around, grab something if you see something you like, and help us raise some money for an incredible cause.
