We will be closed the rest of the week so we can prepare for my dad’s funeral.

I honestly can’t say life isn’t fair bc I had you in my life for 46 years! You are the one that was always there for me with no questions asked. Even when I didn’t want your advice you still gave it to me😂. I was so proud of you and the progress you made last week. You never lost your sassy attitude and you were still giving me s**t even though you couldn’t talk. I know you could hear me asking too many questions and I know that was driving you crazy but I’m stubborn like you and I will do what I want.
I love you so very much and I appreciate everything you have done for me. Love you lots daddy! Until we meet again🩷

We will be closed Monday.

My heart hurts so bad today. My dad is one of the greatest men that has ever been in my life. He showed us what loyalty was not just in his relationship with my mom but also with his job. Thru thick or thin he was always there for us.

If it wasn’t for him I would not be where I’m at now. He believed in me. He would send me pictures of food trucks and say how about this one? I kind of laughed it off bc I wasn’t ready to take the plunge. The day came and we found a food truck and he took me to Hutch to get it. For the first year he drove it around for me. I was beyond excited a year later when he handed me the keys! My turn to drive!!! Now I have to navigate without you and I don’t want to. I still need you to guide me. You were hard on me and now I may understand why. I guess bc I am hard headed like you and i wanted to do things my way- which wasn’t always the best way to do them but in my head it made sense. Thank you daddy for everything you have taught me.

We plan on being back on regular schedule next week. Thank you so much for all the prayers and words of encouragement we truly appreciate everyone.

First Impella was removed Wednesday with no issues. My dad was even more responsive that night! Thursday he is lifting his hands, shakes his head yes or no, and his facial expressions say a lot. Today(Friday) his second impella came out! Next goal is to get the breathing tube out by Sunday or Monday.
5 surgeries in 3 1/2 weeks and he is on the right path to recovery. Today my heart is beyond happy. One day at a time. daddy you got this! You are most definitely a fighter!

Update We will be closed Friday, July 31.

It’s been a roller coaster with my dad. What should have been a pretty simple triple bypass surgery has been a nightmare. It’s going on 3 weeks. We are at the hospital from early morning till late at night, sometimes we are sleeping at the hospital- if they don’t run us off. We are running on very little sleep, we are beyond stressed, worried if we are making the right decisions, worried about what the future holds, we cry a lot, we laugh till we hurt,
They tell us it’s peaks & valleys. It seems like we have been hanging out in the valleys for a while now. There’s deadlines where we have to make difficult decisions on what to do next. We left very discouraged yesterday knowing today we would have to make a decision no one would ever want to make about their loved one.
We get to the hospital today while the Dr was in there with my dad and to see the look on his face brought tears to my eyes. My dad decided to follow commands. He came off dialysis machine, more breathing on his own, blood pressure is amazing, and he has 2 impella machines for his heart, One of which will come out tomorrow. A shorter surgery but he is still not out of the clear as he is in a fragile state. After tomorrows surgery he should have 2 more

He is still very fragile and he is Not out of the clear. I believe in miracles, I have faith & I believe HE will be with my dad every step of the way.

We ask for any and all prays for all the Doctors & nurses before, during and after his surgery tomorrow.

These are our hours this week and we will keep you updated if we need to close unexpectedly

My dad had triple bypass surgery last Thursday. The surgery was long and it went well. Now as for the recovery it’s not going the way we want it. He is still having issues with his heart. One of the new arteries was 80% clogged. They went back in to fix it over the weekend. We sit here waiting, worried, scared, praying that his body does what it needs to do to get better. The doctors and nurses are working around the clock caring for him. He has a Impella pump so his heart can rest. As I type they are taking him back to make a bigger line. We pray for the surgeons and nurses that are taking care of him.
Thank you for all your prayers & concerns and for everyone that has reached out to us.
Sorry if you come up and see us and I’m a mess.
