Please join us on October 15 as we welcome w**emaker Billy Wilson of Greenvale Vineyards to Pescadou for the first dinner of our inaugural Winemaker Dinner Series.
Set along the Sakonnet River in Portsmouth, Greenvale is one of Rhode Islandβs historic working farms, with the property remaining in the same family since the 1860s. The vineyard took shape in the early 1980s, and today Billy Wilson represents the next generation of the family, co-running Greenvale alongside his mother, Nancy Parker Wilson, and leading its w**emaking.
Billy grew up at Greenvaleβharvesting grapes, working around the cellar and tasting room, and eventually returning to help shape the vineyardβs next chapter. His w**es are rooted in Aquidneck Island and the particular maritime climate of coastal Rhode Island, with Greenvale producing everything from Chardonnay and AlbariΓ±o to Cabernet Franc and Malbec.
Join us at Pescadou for an evening of Greenvale w**es, dinner, and conversation with Billy about farming and making w**e here in Rhode Island.
