MEET PICCOLO BY CARABELLO, our brand new mobile catering cart! Today was our maiden voyage, and we chose the Dwell Pilates grand opening in Mariemont as our first gig. We could not be more pleased with how everything has turned out with this new venture.

You can now bring our cafe experience to your next corporate event, wedding, party or brand activation. We serve the entire Cincy / NKY region as well as Lexington, Louisville and Columbus.

✨️ We've got two new Single Origins for you! ✨️

Honduras La Navi Dark comes to us from a small group of farmers in Lempira, Honduras. 🇭🇳🌴 We source La Navi specifically as a component for many of our staple blends. Though this coffee is a team player, it's fully capable of standing on its own. In addition to deeply caramelized sugars, this darker roast profile highlights the coffee’s chocolaty and malty flavors. We are very excited to offer an additional coffee with a darker roast profile!

In the Cup: Dark Chocolate, Vanilla, Brown Sugar, Roasted Malt, Round & Smooth

Kenya Kirinyaga AA comes from the Kirinyaga growing district located in the Mount Kenya region. 🇰🇪⛰️ Within this growing region, the Rung ‘eto cooperative operates the Kiangoi coffee mill. Each member of the cooperative tends between 200-500 coffee plants on less than a hectare of land and brings their coffee to Kiangoi for processing.

This new Santa Teresa coffee release comes from the farm of the same name owned by our long time friend Joaquin Lovo in Nicaragua. 🇳🇮 Finca Santa Teresa has held a special place in our hearts for as long as we have known the Lovo family. Each time we travel to visit them, Finca Santa Teresa is the place where we gather to share a meal, drink coffee, and talk. On our most recent trip, we grilled out by the farm manager’s home and caught up on life. This farm is very special to us and is full of fond memories. ⁠

The coffee from Finca Santa Teresa is grown under shade trees, 🌳 with a great variety of timber species, including cedar. Joaquin processed this specific lot using a fully washed method which included a 38–39 hour fermentation in ceramic tanks. ⁠

This new coffee release comes from our friend of the same name in Honduras, Gabriel Leiva. We first met Gabriel through Benjamin Paz's program that connects coffee farmers in Honduras with roasters from across the globe who will commit to buying 100% of the farmer’s coffee. We tried a couple different farmers before we found the right fit with Gabriel Leiva! We were specifically searching for a coffee that highlights the classic flavors of coffee from Honduras. And coffee from the Leiva family truly delivers just that: Yummy. Smooth. Drinkable all day long. Classic Pacas!

After a year of buying Gabriel’s coffee, we decided to go on an origin trip and meet him in 2023. We returned to Honduras in 2024 and then again in 2026 and were overjoyed with the opportunity to spend time with the whole Leiva family both times.

Join us in Lexington this Saturday, August 22 from 9am-1pm for the Cold Brew Coffee Festival! It's the 8th annual celebration of cold brew as part of the Lexington Farmers’ Market—but our first time there!⁠

Entry is free! You can buy full-size cold brew drinks from any vendor or purchase a cold brew flight and vote for your fave! (It's going to be us, right?) 🥇🏆️⁠

We'll be serving up our regular cold brew (Tres Fincas) and Iced Bourbon Maple Creams, and competing in two categories: Cold Brew and Signature Drink. 🥤⁠

Bourbon Barrel Aged Coffee tubes will be for sale (swipe!)—you won't see it again until the Cincinnati Coffee Festival at the end of October and online in November, so come grab some! 🥃 ☕️
