Do you like cream puffs? Well, this is a giant cream puff cake! Actually, it’s a Polish dessert called Karpatka. It has two layers of choux pastry sandwiched with a vanilla cream filling. Powdered sugar is dusted on top the pâte à choux to resemble the snow-capped Carpathian Mountains in Poland. Only at Postmaster Spirits this week.

Can you believe this is the last week of May? Next weekend is the Delta Arts Festival and we have several new ideas for our menu. So stay tune. But for this week here's our dinner menu for May 27th through May 30th:

Wednesday - Italian and smoked sausage ravioli, salad, bread

Thursday - (Add) Chicken Francese (lightly battered pan fried chicken breast finished with a lemon butter and white wine sauce) served over steamed rice and honey glazed carrots, salad, bread

Friday/Saturday - (Add) Crab bisque with grilled Smoked Gouda cheese and bacon sandwich

What's in our Layered Espresso Martini Crunch you ask? Well...

Second layer - Coffee ice cream
Third layer - Crushed Heath bar
Fourth layer - Irish cream combined with whipped cream
This dessert is then dusted with espresso powder and topped with a chocolate covered coffee bean. It's a delicious treat that's not too sweet. Only here at Postmaster Spirits!

It's Memorial Day weekend and we'll be closed Saturday for a mini-break. So, let's start this week with a comforting bowl of creamy chicken tortilla soup. And if you need an extra kick to get through the day then try our espresso martini crunch. It's just a little (wink, wink) boozy with a shot of caffeine.

Dinner menu for May 20th through May 22nd:

Wednesday - Creamy chicken tortilla soup garnished with shredded cheese, sour cream, lime, cilantro and jalapeño peppers

Thursday - (Add) Pork loin with peach glaze and orange-habanero mojo over long grain wild rice and steamed broccoli with salad and bread

Friday - (Add) Shrimp creole over jasmine rice, salad, bread
