Hello Facebook Fans! Been a long time since our last post...never seems to be enough time in the day to post. However, I needed to find the time today because so many things are happening and rumors are amuck! So, this will be a long post, but necessary.
I've been asked by several people if Brownells' is closing. The answer is no. In the coming days you will see a for sale sign on the building. Why you ask? The owners are ready to sell and move on. The building is hoping to sell as an investment opportunity with Brownells' remaining. IF someone comes along and wishes to run their own restaurant, then yes, Brownells' will close. Will we seek another location? Maybe. Honestly speaking, this short journey has been overwhelming and so much of our personal lives have been affected. Owning a restaurant is by far the most difficult thing we've ever done! So, stay tuned and I'll be sure to keep the rumors correct.
Next...we are closed tonight through Thursday. As so many of you know, we do not have air conditioning. It is very hot both inside and out, so we made the hard decision to shut it down. We will return Friday!
Next...our kitchen staff is moving on to better things. One chef left to try other things, another is chasing her lifelong dream of teaching and our last one has moved to Spokane and wants something closer to home (who can blame him!!). Therefore, we are short staffed. We are looking for help, so if you have kitchen experience, come see us! In the meantime, we will have new hours beginning August 11. I will post that information in another post. Next week we are closed Mon-Weds and will return Thursday with our FALL MENU! Woohoo.
Ok, I think that is it for now. Lots of changes and hard knocks happening at Brownells', but nothing we cannot handle! See you Friday!
