It's hard to believe that this was 6 years ago. We began to see and feel community differently through this time. We were all going through a season that would shake all that we knew/know. We were going through it together yet being torn apart. Now being many years after, we still are putting the pieces back together. No matter the storms that may come, your village is important. We will weather the storms together.

OUR PEEPS we have been quiet but still roastin', and well, swimmin'🤣! 3 weeks ago on a Monday we found our coffee roastery and neighbors at flooded with an inch of water due to our water heater leaking🫣. This is crazy right? but in the truest form of community, we have worked through this challenge together, and honestly so grateful for everyone who has come together to lift each up (business friends, make sure you have insurance!!) As for the roastery, we got back up and running pretty quickly, and we are taking this opportunity to renovate our space and open to the public👀 No more shipping if you are local, which we agree has been wack! ALSO, if you are going through challenges of your own right now, know that we are here for you🙏🏻

Check it out! This Thursday we are hangin and makin with .pies ! We’ve been thinking it would be cool to hang out on INSTA LIVE with other folks in our community that are crafting stellar creations with their hands. It’s something that we have been at the core of Canvas since the beginning. Crafting, making, creating. SO come hang with us, first up .pies Thrusday at 8! This fruit bomb sourced from Finca San Cristobal has lots of layers to unpack — berries, bright fruits, chocolate, and a high sweetness level.

We’ve enjoyed this as a filter coffee, both hot and flash brewed. Due to its complexity, this coffee is also very tasty as espresso.
