UPDATE ON CHRISTY: A lot of people have been asking for an update on how Christy is doing. She is very grateful for everyone who is concerned about her well being and sends lots of love back to those who have been sending prayers, well wishes and keeping her in your thoughts.
I am going to do this one last update unless something changes for the worse. They say no news is good news lol!! Anyway, she has been feeling much better although this has been quite a roller coaster. I think it's safe to say that they have got her meds adjusted to minimize some of the side effects. But that has been a long road of trial & error and she will need anti rejection meds for the rest of her life. Her pain is mostly gone and she is healing from the surgery nicely. All of her bloodwork looks good. Her creatinine levels has been good hovering around 1.0 which is GREAT!!
She is back at the cafe now but her immune system is being suppressed so lots of contact with others is respectfully being kept to a minimum. The kitchen crew has done a GREAT job in her absence and deserve a big shout out!! But they sure are glad she is back to give them breaks throughout the busy weekends of a non stop flow of tickets to be cooked. We are grateful for the support of the community & YOU ALL for making the choice to dine at Christy's Cafe!! Much LOVE!!
