Check out this post for an update to student meal prices for the 2026-2027 school year.
As we get ready to welcome students back for another school year, we want to share an important update about school meal prices.
Beginning with the 2026–2027 school year, Newcastle Public Schools will make a small adjustment to student meal prices due to rising food and labor costs.
Meal prices for the new school year are:
• Breakfast (All Grades): $2.00
• Elementary Lunch: $3.35
• Secondary Lunch: $3.60
There is no change to reduced-price meal rates. Students who qualify will continue to pay $0.30 for breakfast and $0.40 for lunch.
We know school meals are an important part of every student's day, and we're committed to continuing to serve nutritious, high-quality meals that help our students grow and thrive.
If your family may qualify for free or reduced-price meals, we encourage you to complete an application before the first day of school. Applications can be submitted through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal or by completing the district's printable application found here: https://www.newcastle.k12.ok.us/ChildNutrition.aspx
Thank you for trusting us to care for your children each day. We look forward to another great year together!
Thank you for your continued partnership and support as we prepare for another great school year.
