So blessed to be able to bake for my cousin (in-law) and her groom this past weekend as one of my final orders in my kitchen. The love these two radiate is unlike any other!
It might have been a 2 hour drive in the snow and ice Saturday morning to get there, but worth it all to watch them get married! Wouldn’t have missed it for the world! 🤍❄️💍

🧁Bakery Update: 🧁
I want to start off by saying THANK YOU to every single person that has ordered, stopped by, shared my statuses, sent referrals my way, or just cheered me on this last year!

I have made the bittersweet decision to close the bakery. A few big factors are at play here and the top one is the arrival of our sweet OakLynn at the end of December. Being a mom is my top priority in life and I want to be able to spend as much time with her (and my other two kiddos) as possible once she gets here.

Another being cost of goods and rising pricing. As a small business I can’t possibly raise my prices high enough to compensate for the rise in cost of goods. I do this because I love it and I feel as if it would be unfair to also raise prices constantly to make up for the cost of goods and overhead.

Third, when I took on the store front, there were cottage laws in place that prevented me from doing quite a bit for my customers. As of July that is no longer in place and I can bake from home (like I did for years) without repercussions. Now that the laws have changed, and with the arrival of our daughter, I believe going back to my roots and enjoying time with her is the best choice for me and my family.

With all that being said, I am completely booked through my official closing date of November 21st and will be closed for orders through my maternity leave which will end at the beginning of March 2023. If you need recommendations on bakers between now and then please don’t hesitate to send us a message and I will be happy to give you a few names!

Opening this storefront was one of my biggest goals in life and it has been everything I ever dreamed of (and more sometimes 🤣). I am beyond blessed for such an amazing year and could not have pictured it any other way. You all are truly amazing for your support not only over the last year but over the last 5 that I have been on this journey. This is not goodbye by any means, it’s just some time to step back, enjoy my family, and continue to grow in my passion on my own time.

🎂Bakery Update:🎂

First of all I wanted to say Thank you to everyone that has chosen LTC for their special occasions!
With that being said; as I get further along in my pregnancy and as custom orders are coming in, I have made the difficult decision to close my storefront for now and focus on custom/corporate orders as they are starting to take up the majority of my time.
📣Friday September 9th 1-5:30 will be my last Friday open to the public. 📣

A few things to know:

1. If you need cupcakes or treats for a weekend get together, please let me know by Tuesday of that week and I can try to get you in depending on availability.
2. Custom orders are about 85% full for September and October right now so if you are planning an event please send me a message asap to get on the calendar.
3. I will be planning some pre-order sales In the coming weeks so be on the look out for those!

📣Changes coming to Lil’ Tate’s Storefront! 📣

**** We will now only be open on 🅕🅡🅘🅓🅐🅨🅢 from 1-6 pm until further notice. I have made the difficult decision to no longer off $2 Tuesdays due to rising costs of goods 😔 and a big increase to custom orders. Tuesday, August 16th will be the last $2 Tuesday.

*Custom (non corporate) orders over $100 will receive $🔟 off in the month of September. -Spots are filling super fast so secure yours asap!

* I am currently not going to be taking any orders after December 15th until February 10th due to maternity leave! Things could change depending on how I am feeling in December so keep an eye out for pop up sales or preorders! 🎄

* Needing an order throughout the week? Please provide a 48 hour notice and I can add you to the calendar as long as availability allows!

*Please note all custom order pick ups are on Friday 2-6 pm unless otherwise planned.

*I am planning to do some pop up events/Friday fun nights in the next few months so keep an eye 👀 out for those events!

* I am currently 20 weeks pregnant with our third child 💓 and am running this business completely on my own so I am having to make adjustments to be able to provide the best items possible to my customers and to put my custom orders first when it comes to time. I hope you all can understand and continue to choose us on Fridays for your weekend/pre 🏈 football game treats! Please DO NOT HESITATE to give us a call to place an order as I will do my best to add you in! 🎂
