From coffee beans to… handbags?! ☕👜

This week’s Vendor Spotlight is “Brewed to Be Carried” by Carole Penner, featuring one of a kind bags handcrafted from authentic coffee bean burlap.

The original markings from the coffee sacks become part of each design, then they’re finished with fun fabrics, handles, vintage buttons, and details that give every bag its very own personality.

And really… could there be a more perfect place to find a coffee bag than a coffee shop?

From Apple Butter and Triberry to Lemon Lavender, Cool Kick Mint Cucumber Jalapeño, and Sweet Ember Apricot Peach Habanero, there’s a jar for the traditional jam lover AND the person who wants to try something completely different.

Sunday was a bittersweet one at The Shake & Grind. ❤️

We said goodbye (for now!) to our Clare as she heads off to college and begins an exciting new chapter. 🎓✨

Clare has been so much more than an employee. Her dedication, dependability, initiative, incredible customer service, and willingness to always go above and beyond have made such an impact here. She could always be counted on, jumped in wherever she was needed, and brought such a positive energy to our customers and our team.

Clare, you will be so very missed ….by me, by our customers, and by The Shake & Grind family. I am incredibly grateful for everything you’ve given to this little place of ours. ❤️

We are cheering you on as you head to college and can’t wait to see all the amazing things ahead for you.
